Healthy Schools Act Tips

Welcome to a new communications tool that highlights how schools are putting the Healthy Schools Act into Action — with information on the Act, school spotlights, and tips.

The Healthy Schools Act Tips are brought to you in partnership by the Mayor’s Healthy Youth and Schools Commission, the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, D.C. Hunger Solutions and many other community organizations dedicated to improving the health and wellness of District children.

If would like to share a story about a D.C. school that deserves recognition for its work to improve school wellness, physical activity, nutrition, or environmental literacy, please send an email to Alyia Smith-Parker at asmith-parker@dchunger.org.
